Abstract

This thesis examines the pedagogical, moral, and spiritual significance of Abu Isa al-Tirmidhi’s renowned work Ash-Shamāʾil an-Nabawiyyah as a foundational source for moral education within the contemporary “Upbringing” subject. The study emphasizes the role of prophetic character education in shaping ethical values, spiritual consciousness, and social behavior among learners. By analyzing the structural, thematic, and didactic features of the work, the thesis substantiates its relevance as an educational model that integrates moral ideals with lived ethical practice. The research highlights the applicability of the work in modern educational systems aimed at nurturing morally mature, socially responsible, and spiritually balanced individuals.
