Abstract

This article explores the multifaceted benefits of incorporating innovative teaching methods in native language lessons for primary school students. Moving beyond traditional, monologic forms of instruction, innovative approaches—ranging from interactive storytelling and game-based learning to digital integration and project-based tasks—contribute to deeper cognitive engagement, the development of metalinguistic awareness, and more meaningful language acquisition. The article also highlights how such methods promote emotional involvement, inclusive participation, and critical thinking, ultimately aligning early language education with 21st-century pedagogical standards.
