Abstract

MRSA infection is a disease caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, which is characterized by multiple antibiotic resistance. Nosocomial infections include nosocomial pneumonia, osteomyelitis, infections of the skin, urinary tract, and bloodstream. Identification of the microorganism is carried out using molecular genetic and bacteriological methods. Antimicrobial drugs are used to treat MRSA infections: cyclic lipopeptides, glycopeptides, cephalosporins, etc.
