Abstract

Teaching English to young learners (TEYL) has become increasingly significant in our globalized world. This article explores the theoretical foundations, pedagogical approaches, and practical strategies for effectively teaching English to children. It delves into the cognitive and emotional characteristics of young learners, examines various teaching methods, and discusses the integration of technology and storytelling in the classroom. The article also addresses challenges faced by educators and provides recommendations for curriculum design and teacher training.
