Abstract

Cerebrovascular diseases, in particular stroke, occupy the first place among the causes of disability. Proper rehabilitation of patients after a stroke involves correction of motor and cognitive impairments, as well as social adaptation. The article discusses the basic principles of rehabilitation after stroke, the features of rehabilitation of patients with motor, speech, and cognitive impairments. The issues of using drugs that facilitate the rehabilitation process are discussed.
