Motor disorders are a common cause of disability after a stroke. Effective physical rehabilitation of stroke patients depends on the state of cognitive functions. The article discusses the main pathogenetic mechanisms of the development of motor and cognitive disorders after a stroke, as well as ways to correct them. The rationale for the use of drugs with a multimodal mechanism of action to increase brain plasticity and rehabilitation potential is given.
