Abstract

Microfinance institutions (MFIs) play a crucial role in promoting financial inclusion and poverty reduction. Assessing the efficiency of MFIs is vital to ensure optimal resource utilization and effective service delivery. This comparative study focuses on the efficiency analysis of selected microfinance institutions through quantitative measures. By employing techniques such as Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and examining key financial and operational indicators, this research explores the relative efficiency levels of different MFIs. The study identifies factors contributing to variations in efficiency and offers insights into best practices. The findings contribute to the sustainable growth of MFIs and the advancement of financial inclusion efforts.
