Abstract

The increasing resistance of microorganisms to antibacterial drugs has become a huge problem for the global medical community today. The results of pharmacoepidemiological studies conducted in recent years show that the level of microbial resistance to antibiotics has reached its peak and extends even to new drugs that have not yet found widespread use in clinical practice. One of the most important reasons for the emergence and spread of antibiotic resistance is the high frequency of irrational use of antibacterial drugs.

Pharmacotherapy during pregnancy is a specific phase of life, which, in general and in particular, differs from all other phases of life on medical, ethical and, most of all, legal grounds.
