HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN SAMARKAND REGION

This scientific article discusses the development of tourism in the Samarkand region of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the years of independence. That is, the state of Samarkand region in the field of tourism in the first years of independence, cooperation with foreign countries for the development of the tourism sector, efforts to implement various projects in order to develop the tourism sector of Samarkand region, as well as the achievements and shortcomings are revealed in the article.
