Abstract

Modern educational practices increasingly emphasize learner-centered approaches that promote active participation and meaningful engagement. Gamification, which involves incorporating game elements into non-game contexts, has emerged as an effective strategy in foreign language education. This paper examines the role of gamification in English language teaching, focusing on its impact on student motivation, classroom engagement, language skills development, and learning outcomes. The study also discusses the advantages, challenges, and practical applications of gamification in English language classrooms.
