Abstract

This research study delves into the multifaceted realm of user satisfaction with Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and its interconnected influence on individual performance within Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). By employing a comprehensive investigative approach, the research aims to uncover the intricate factors that impact user satisfaction with AIS and how this satisfaction subsequently affects individual performance. The study employs a mixed-methods design, integrating quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, to capture a holistic understanding of the phenomenon. Through statistical analysis and thematic exploration, the study reveals the significance of factors such as system usability, information accuracy, training adequacy, and organizational support in shaping user satisfaction and, consequently, individual performance. The findings contribute to a nuanced comprehension of the complex relationship between AIS, user satisfaction, and individual performance in SMEs, providing valuable insights for enhancing AIS design, implementation, and support strategies.
