Abstract

The article analyzes methods of developing listening comprehension skills in foreign language teaching. The importance of listening comprehension in forming learners’ ability to perceive and understand real speech processes is highlighted. Effective methods for developing this skill as well as the stages of using modern technologies are presented. In addition, the effectiveness of approaches and methods influencing the listening comprehension process is explained.
