Abstract

This article examines the role of legal awareness in the process of youth empowerment in developing countries. In modern society, young people play an important role in social development; however, insufficient legal knowledge often limits their ability to fully realize their rights and responsibilities. The study analyzes the impact of legal literacy on youth participation in social, political, and civic life. It also identifies key challenges, including limited access to legal education and information, as well as the lack of effective mechanisms for promoting legal awareness. Based on the analysis, the article highlights the importance of strengthening legal education and improving access to reliable information sources. Increasing legal awareness among youth is considered an important factor in enhancing active citizenship, social responsibility, and sustainable development.
