A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF TARA CAMPBELL AND OTHER CONTEMPORARY FLASH FICTION WRITERS

This article examines the distinctive features of flash fiction in the works of Tara Campbell and compares her literary style with those of other contemporary flash fiction writers. The study explores the structural, thematic, and stylistic elements that characterize modern flash fiction, including brevity, narrative compression, symbolism, emotional intensity, and open endings. Particular attention is given to Tara Campbell’s ability to portray complex psychological states and everyday human experiences within a limited narrative space. Through comparative analysis, the article identifies both shared and unique techniques employed by contemporary authors in shaping meaning and reader engagement. The research also discusses the development of flash fiction as a significant genre in modern American literature and evaluates Tara Campbell’s contribution to its artistic evolution. The findings demonstrate that her works combine minimalistic narration with deep emotional resonance, distinguishing her voice among present-day flash fiction writers.
