Abstract

The article is devoted to the актуal problem of the differential diagnosis of speech disorders — general speech underdevelopment, motor alalia, and dysarthria — and language interference in bilingual children speaking Russian and Uzbek. In the context of natural Russian-Uzbek bilingualism, which is widespread in Uzbekistan, speech therapists and teachers often experience difficulties in distinguishing pathological speech errors from phenomena caused by the influence of the native Uzbek language on Russian speech.

The paper analyzes typical manifestations of interference at the phonetic, grammatical, and lexical levels and compares them with the symptoms of speech disorders. Based on a comparative analysis, diagnostic criteria are proposed that make it possible to distinguish the transfer of Uzbek language rules from systemic speech defects.

The article is intended for speech therapists, defectologists, teachers of Russian as a foreign language, and researchers of bilingualism.
