Abstract

The article examines the impact of globalization processes on the development of contemporary fiction. The main directions of transformation of the literary process under conditions of global cultural interaction are analyzed, including changes in thematic scope, genre forms, artistic language, and authorial self-consciousness. Special attention is paid to the correlation between national literary traditions and universal cultural codes. The article concludes that globalization has a dual nature, acting simultaneously as a factor that expands the artistic potential of literature and as a source of threats to the preservation of national identity.
