THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS AND CLASSIFICATION OF WORD GROUPS IN ENGLISH

This article analyses the theoretical foundations and classification of word classes in the English language from a linguistic perspective. The study examines the grammatical, semantic, and syntactic features of word classes and identifies their role within the language system. It also explores the criteria for classifying word groups in English, their interrelations, and modern linguistic approaches to their analysis. The results contribute to expanding the theoretical understanding of word classes and demonstrate the effectiveness of scientific approaches to their classification.
