Abstract

 The article explores the phenomenon of virtual property as a fundamentally new object of civil rights that has emerged amid global digitalization and the transformation of information technologies. The author provides a systematic analysis of the legal nature of digital assets, including in-game items, cryptocurrencies, domain names, and social media accounts. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specifically regarding the potential for integrating virtual objects into the existing system of civil rights objects.
