This article analyzes the role and importance of the transport system in socio-economic development from a scientific and theoretical perspective. The impact of transport infrastructure on economic growth, regional integration, production efficiency, and the standard of living of the population is revealed. In addition, the role of the transport system in logistics processes, labor mobility, investment climate, and the development of foreign economic activity is substantiated. Special attention is also paid to innovative development in the transport sector, digitalization processes, and issues of environmental sustainability.Downloads
