Abstract

In the works of A.I. Solzhenitsyn's nature is presented richly and diversely. Not only in works of small form, in which events take place mainly in open space, but also in the novels “In the First Circle” and “Cancer Ward”, where the main action is concentrated within the walls of a special prison and cancer hospital, the landscape plays a large role.
