Abstract

This article deals with oil painting. This technique, born many centuries ago, at first glance does not seem to require significant knowledge. However, this is not the case. On the basics of oil painting, on stretchers, soils, paint properties and on the Italian method of oil work. The article talks about the work of famous masters.
