This article highlights innovative methods for improving the modernized methodological support for organizing handicraft classes in the higher education system. The study examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of the effective use of modern pedagogical technologies, digital tools, the STEAM approach, design thinking, project tasks, teamwork, and elements of gamification. These innovative methods serve to strengthen students' practical skills, analyze problem situations, develop creative and engineering thinking, as well as form competencies in independent decision-making and collaborative work.
