this article discusses the system of military personnel training, educational reform, requirements for higher military educational institutions, the fundamental essence of the educational process, the multifaceted relationship between the teacher and the student, and the fact that under the influence of these relationships, the acquisition of certain knowledge, skills and qualifications leads to the continuous improvement of the professional skills of cadets.
