Abstract

This article highlights the importance of psychological knowledge for teachers and the critical role of student motivation in the educational process. The need, concepts of motivation, and components of motivation in the formation of motivation have been studied. Theories about personal needs and their role in personality development are described. Strategies researched to attract and engage students in lessons are presented.
