THE CONTENT OF FORMING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SKILLS AND INVOCATING LOVE FOR NATURE IN CHILDREN IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the methodology for developing preschool children’s skills in protecting the environment and fostering love for nature. The study analyzes the content and significance of environmental education, factors influencing the formation of ecological culture in children, and the methodological foundations of educators’ activities.
Based on the “First Step” state curriculum, the article explores the use of games, practical exercises, project work, and artistic activities as effective tools for environmental education. The research results demonstrate that involving children in eco-friendly activities promotes their sense of responsibility, observation skills, and emotional connection to nature.
