Medicine in the 21st century has ceased to be purely a clinical science - it is increasingly integrated with the social, cultural, and ethical processes of society. For Uzbekistan, which is actively modernizing all sectors, a specific dynamic of sociocultural integration is observed, reflecting the interaction between traditional medical values and modern technologies.
The study is based on the analysis of normative documents (“Uzbekistan – 2030” Development Strategy, the State Program "Digital Health"), statistical data from the Ministry of Health, and scientific publications on medical sociology and bioethics. Methods of content analysis, comparative-historical and sociocultural approaches, as well as expert evaluation (n = 50) of medical professionals' opinions on social changes in healthcare were used.
The research highlights the cultural nature of medicine in Uzbekistan, the integration of traditional and modern medical practices, and the growing importance of professional ethics and digital transformation. It identifies challenges such as insufficient ethical education, digital inequality, and low public health literacy. The study concludes that the sociocultural integration of medicine in Uzbekistan aims to harmonize tradition and innovation, emphasizing humanization, digitalization, and the development of medical culture.
