Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most transformative technologies of the 21st century, reshaping industries, economies, and societies. Healthcare, a field that directly influences human life and well-being, has witnessed an unprecedented integration of AI into clinical practice, research, and health management. From diagnostic imaging and personalized medicine to robotic surgery and drug discovery, AI holds the promise of revolutionizing patient care. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), AI could improve access to medical services for more than 2 billion people worldwide who currently lack adequate healthcare. However, along with its opportunities, AI introduces significant challenges such as algorithmic bias, data privacy risks, and ethical dilemmas. This paper explores the current state of AI in healthcare, analyzes global case studies, discusses ethical challenges, and evaluates the potential impact on healthcare systems in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
