Abstract

This research develops foundational principles for designing modern electronic ideographic dictionaries in English and Uzbek that employ audio, video, multimedia, and QRcode functionalities to expose thematic groupings. Using the IMRAD format, the study defines system architecture, interface design, and user interaction strategies. Results indicate that multimedia-enhanced entries enhance thematic navigation and user comprehension. The discussion addresses implications for lexicographic practice, bilingual design, and digital language education tools.
