The integration of diverse sensory inputs has revolutionized English Language Teaching (ELT), shifting from traditional text-based instruction to dynamic multimodal learning environments. This article explores the profound impact of effectively utilizing audio, video, and visual aids on English Language Acquisition (ELA). Drawing on established cognitive theories such as Cognitive Load Theory (CLT), Dual Coding Theory (DCT), and Social Constructivism, it argues that multimodal approaches optimize working memory, create robust dual memory traces, and facilitate social interaction, thereby enhancing learning outcomes.
