Abstract

Pemphigus is a group of autoimmune bullous dermatoses characterized by the formation of intraepidermal blisters on the skin and mucous membranes. The most common form is common pemphigus (pemphigus vulgaris). Without timely and adequate therapy, this disease can lead to severe complications and even death due to the development of infectious processes and damage to large areas of the skin. Modern diagnostic and treatment methods can significantly improve the quality of life of patients and reduce the risk of relapses and complications, but issues of individual selection of therapy, monitoring of side effects and optimization of diagnostics remain important [1,2].
