Abstract

This article explores and compares terms related to life activities in the English and Uzbek languages. By focusing on various aspects such as vocabulary, cultural connotations, and semantic nuances, the study aims to highlight the similarities and differences in how these two languages express life activities. The findings suggest that while there are parallels in some areas, the cultural context significantly shapes the lexical choices in both languages, contributing to distinct representations of life activities. The study is relevant for linguists, language educators, and cultural analysts interested in cross-linguistic and cross-cultural comparisons
