Abstract

Language instruction plays a crucial role in agricultural education by supporting communication, comprehension, and professional development. As agriculture becomes increasingly globalized, agricultural students need to master both technical knowledge and the language skills required to navigate complex agricultural concepts, engage in scientific discussions, and participate in international collaborations. This article explores the importance of language instruction in agricultural education, focusing on its contributions to enhancing students’ ability to communicate effectively, understand specialized content, and develop professional language skills. Through a review of literature and case studies, the study identifies the key roles language instruction plays in improving students’ academic performance and preparing them for the global agricultural workforce. The findings emphasize the need for integrated language training within agricultural curricula to ensure students can thrive in both local and international agricultural settings.
