Abstract

The article examines the problem of motivation for learning in primary school students experiencing academic difficulties. It is argued that a lack of motivation can lead to a decrease in academic performance and difficulties in socialization. Various psychological and pedagogical methods that help increase motivation are studied, including Vygotsky's concept of the zone of proximal development, Maslow's theory of needs, etc. The purpose of the article is to identify and analyze effective strategies that can help children with learning difficulties. As a result, recommendations are offered for adapting pedagogical practices to create conditions that promote successful learning and the formation of a positive attitude towards learning activities.
