Abstract

Organosilicon compounds are widely used in various industries due to their properties such as high thermal and chemical stability, elasticity and water resistance. This article is devoted to experiments on obtaining organosilicon compounds from the reaction of sodium metasilicate (Na₂SiO₃) with monochlorohydrin, dichlorohydrin and epichlorohydrin. The experimental results were analyzed using infrared (IR) spectroscopy to determine the composition and structure of the new compounds.
