PATRIOTISM IN NATIONAL ARMY OF UZBEKISTAN AND MILITARY ACADEMY

Abstract

We must build our future on a solid foundation. And this basis is patriotism. No matter how long we discuss things that can be the foundation, the strong moral foundation for our country, we still cannot think of anything else. Patriotism within the military institutions of Uzbekistan, particularly in the National Army and the Military Academy, plays a pivotal role in shaping the values, sense of duty, and allegiance of servicemembers to the nation. This article explores the significance of patriotism in Uzbekistan’s defense framework, assessing how training programs, curriculum content, and institutional practices foster national pride and commitment. It evaluates the psychological and sociocultural approaches employed to reinforce patriotism in military personnel and examines how the values instilled impact national defense and unity. Data from academic and government sources, alongside recent policy reforms, provide a foundation for understanding patriotism as an essential component of Uzbekistan’s national security strategy.
