Abstract

Electronic cigarettes, commonly known as e-cigarettes or vapes, have gained widespread popularity over the past decade as an alternative to traditional tobacco smoking. Initially marketed as a safer option and a tool for smoking cessation, e-cigarettes have attracted a diverse demographic, including young adults and even adolescents. However, recent studies have highlighted the addictive potential of these devices, raising concerns about the long-term health implications of e-cigarette dependence.
