Access to basic household amenities is a cornerstone of human well-being and development. This study offers an exploration of fundamental household amenities in Uttarakhand, India, utilizing data from the National Family Health Survey. By analyzing indicators such as sanitation facilities, water sources, electricity access, and cooking methods, the research unveils the current status of household amenities in the region. The study highlights disparities and challenges faced by different segments of the population and identifies trends over time. These insights contribute to informed policy discussions and interventions aimed at improving living conditions, health, and overall quality of life for residents of Uttarakhand.
