Abstract

In an era defined by rapid technological advancement and increasing digital connectivity, this study delves into India's journey of information and communication development. Employing a perspective-based approach, the research delves beyond conventional metrics to analyze the multi-dimensional facets of connectivity. By considering the interplay between infrastructure, access, policies, and socio-cultural contexts, the study paints a comprehensive picture of India's evolving information landscape. Through a blend of qualitative and quantitative analyses, this research enhances our understanding of the impacts of digital connectivity on diverse communities, highlighting both opportunities and disparities. The insights garnered contribute to informed policy recommendations and strategies, fostering inclusive and sustainable information and communication development throughout India.
