The process approach to teaching vocabulary is explained in this article with particular emphasis on its theoretical basis and practical usage in language instruction. It explains through active involvement, contextualized input, and reflection how the process approach enables significant learning, learner autonomy, and retention. Implementation challenges are examined and pragmatic solutions are explored. The importance of the method in enhancing students' vocabulary acquisition and communicative ability is emphasized in the last words of the article.
