Abstract

This article provides an analytical overview of scholarly literature on economic terminology in both Russian and Uzbek languages. It highlights the historical development, theoretical foundations, and classification of economic terms, as well as the influence of sociocultural and linguistic factors on their formation. The study compares the terminological systems of the two languages, emphasizing the impact of globalization, borrowing, and neologism creation. Special attention is given to terminological gaps and translation equivalence in bilingual economic discourse. This literature review serves as a foundation for further comparative research and lexicographic work in the field of economics.
