This article explores the key trends in the research of terminology within the comparative analysis of the Russian and Uzbek languages. It highlights the evolution of terminological systems in both languages, the influence of sociolinguistic and cultural factors, and the methodological approaches used in comparative studies. Particular attention is paid to the formation, borrowing, and adaptation of terms, as well as the challenges of achieving equivalence in specialized vocabularies. The study aims to identify similarities and differences that can contribute to more effective bilingual terminology development and translation practices.
