Abstract

This article discusses the issues of forming moral education in students during the primary education process. The age and psychological characteristics of primary school students are analyzed as an important factor in the process of moral education. The essence and significance of moral education and its role in the educational process are revealed. Effective methods of implementing moral education during lessons and extracurricular activities are presented. The pedagogical opportunities for developing positive behavior and a sense of responsibility in students are highlighted. In addition, the teacher’s personal example is substantiated as an important factor in moral education. The importance of instilling national and universal values is analyzed. Special attention is paid to developing feelings of respect, cooperation, and kindness in students through moral education. The article is of practical significance for teachers working in the primary education system.
