Abstract

In the digital age, translators face unprecedented challenges in navigating multilingual and multicultural communication, where cultural nuances and technological advancements intersect. This article examines the evolving role of translator training in addressing cultural gaps, drawing on theoretical frameworks from translation studies, intercultural communication, and digital humanities. It identifies challenges such as culture-specific untranslatability, ethical dilemmas, and the impact of AI-driven tools. Pedagogical solutions are proposed, including intercultural competence development, technology-integrated curricula, and collaborative learning models. Through case studies and empirical insights, the study advocates for adaptive training programs that balance linguistic proficiency, cultural sensitivity, and digital literacy. The findings emphasize the need for a holistic approach to prepare translators for effective global communication in diverse digital contexts.
