Gallstone disease (cholelithiasis) remains one of the most common hepatobiliary disorders worldwide, often leading to complications such as cholecystitis, cholangitis, and pancreatitis. In recent years, minimally invasive technologies, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), have become the preferred approaches for treatment due to reduced postoperative complications, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery [1,2]. This thesis evaluates the current state of minimally invasive treatments for gallstone disease, their clinical outcomes, and comparative effectiveness. The study also highlights the role of technological advancements in reducing surgical trauma and improving patient safety.References
