This article explores the significance of teacher's speech as a vital communication tool in the teaching and learning process. Effective teacher talk not only conveys knowledge but also shapes classroom dynamics, facilitates learner engagement, and influences cognitive and affective outcomes. Drawing on theories of educational communication and classroom discourse, the study examines the linguistic, pedagogical, and interpersonal dimensions of teacher speech. Implications for teacher training and classroom practices are also discussed.References
