Abstract

The paper studied the effect of the organophosphorus pesticide chlorpyrifos on the morphofunctional state of the hypothalamic-pituitary neurosecretory system of the offspring of rats that were poisoned with this drug during various periods of pregnancy and lactation. In all series of experiments, dose-dependent changes in the progeny's HGNS were observed, characterized by suppression or some activation of the development and functioning of this system.
