Abstract

This article explores the essential characteristics and classification of terminology used in the field of international tourism. It focuses on the linguistic, functional, and structural features that define tourism-related terms, while also identifying the standards and requirements they must meet for effective communication in a global context. The study emphasizes the importance of terminological consistency and clarity in international tourism discourse, highlighting the need for harmonization across different languages and cultures. Furthermore, the paper discusses challenges in translating and adapting tourism terms to meet both professional and intercultural communication needs.
