1898 DUCCHI ESHON UPRISING IN ANDIJAN AND THE REASONS FOR ITS BEGINNING

Abstract

this article details the bloody uprising of 1898 in Andijan under Ducal Eshon against the colonial policies of the Russian Empire. An important place is occupied by the fact that the Russian Empire, contrary to the interests of local residents, pursues policies, belittles religious аnd nationаl values, and an excessive tax and forced-style Labor burden. The aspirations of the Uzbek people for independence, Justice and religious freedom are considered one of the main factors that gave rise to the uprising.
