Abstract

This article analyzes the critical role of strategically implemented reading activities in bridging the receptive-productive gap for language learners. By examining how deep engagement with diverse texts provides essential linguistic input, fosters internalized knowledge of language structures and discourse patterns, and cultivates crucial cognitive skills, this paper argues that a well-integrated reading curriculum serves as a vital conduit for transforming comprehension into enhanced oral and written communication abilities.
