This article provides a detailed comparative analysis of two prominent language teaching methods: the Direct Method and the Audio-Lingual Method. The Direct Method is described as focusing on communication, immersion, and inductive grammar learning, whereas the Audio-Lingual Method is rooted in behaviorist theories and emphasizes repetition, accuracy, and mechanical drills.
